For builders

Define the operation.
Kabyn runs it.

Install a Process Pack and change its TypeScript definition. Kabyn handles state, permissions, transactions, process recovery and reliable message processing. Your applications call the resulting commands through MCP, an SDK or an API.

01 / What belongs where

Vibe code the interface. Keep the operation governed.

You defineKabyn handles
Objects and statesDurable state
Commands and rulesIdempotent execution
Workflows and approvalsTransactions and recovery
Events and integrationsDurable queues, safe retries and duplicate protection
Applications and AI clientsPermissions and audit

02 / Build time

Install. Edit. Review. Publish.

Kabyn stores the operation as TypeScript files. You can inspect every change in a diff and keep the definition in version control.

  1. 01

    Install a Process Pack

Start with working objects, commands, events, workflows and views.

  2. 02

    Open the TypeScript definition

Use an AI coding tool, an IDE or edit the files directly.

  3. 03

    Adapt the operation

Change states, fields, rules, permissions, approvals and integrations.

  4. 04

    Review the source

Inspect the diff and keep the operational definition in version control.

  5. 05

    Publish to Kabyn

Kabyn validates and compiles the package, then runs the resulting operation.

03 / A readable definition

The files describe the business, not the screen.

A pack defines the records and commands. Events state what happened. Workflows apply the rules.

jobs / operation.ts

object("Job", {
  status: states(
    "Survey",
    "Design",
    "CustomerApproval",
    "Scheduled",
    "Installation",
    "Commissioning"
  )
})

command("approveDesign")
  .requiresPermission("jobs.approve")
  .emits("DesignApproved")

04 / Runtime responsibilities

Do not rebuild the runtime beneath every application.

Your application already relies on a database and an identity provider. Its operations also need shared execution infrastructure. Kabyn handles retries, recovery, transactions, permissions and audit while you define the rules specific to the business.

Reliable message processing with durable queues, safe retries and duplicate protection.

Example command

approveDesign
The caller submits the command twice.
Kabyn recognises the duplicate and does not approve the design twice.
A downstream service is unavailable.
Kabyn keeps the message in a durable queue and retries the unfinished work safely.

05 / AI has two roles

Use AI to adapt the operation or to request work from it.

Build time

AI edits the package files.

Codex or Claude CodeTypeScript packagePublish

You review the source before Kabyn compiles and runs it.

Runtime

AI requests governed actions.

External AI clientMCPKabyn Command

AI can request an action. Kabyn checks and executes it.

Kabyn does not include an AI chat interface. External clients discover its commands and views through MCP.

06 / Runtime access

MCP, SDKs and APIs call the same commands.

The access method changes. The command, permission check and business outcome stay the same.

MCP

AI clients

ChatGPT, Claude, Codex and other MCP hosts can discover commands, query views and request UI Surfaces.

SDK

Custom applications

React, mobile and internal applications can use typed objects, queries and commands.

API

Integrations

Connect existing systems without copying the operation into every integration.
